Comfortable Protection for Wounds, Bandages, and Skin Conditions

The MPS-Hind Leg Sleeves are specially designed to protect your dog’s hind legs following surgery, injury, or in cases of skin irritation. These soft, breathable sleeves allow freedom of movement while shielding sensitive areas from licking, scratching, or biting, supporting faster healing in a stress-free way.

Supplied as a pair of sleeves (left and right), the MPS-HLS is secured with adjustable Velcro® and elastic straps and must be used in combination with the MPS-TOP Shirt (sold separately). The integrated straps connect directly to the rear loops of the MPS-TOP Shirt to ensure the sleeves stay comfortably and securely in place.

How to measure your dog

The size of the hind leg sleeve is measured by the inside length of the leg.

IMPORTANT: The MPS Topshirt MUST be used with this product in order for it to work correctly

Materials

The soft double layered fabric at the hips, back and front side of sleeve is manufactured using Cotton.

The rear side of sleeve is manufactured using a breathable stretchy Cotton/Lycra fabric. The MPS-HLS® Hind Leg Sleeves for dogs is toxic/lead free.

Care Instructions

For longer usage, it is possible that the print of the MPS-HLS® Hind Leg Sleeves and the label could fade over time. With the washing instructions below, this process can be delayed. Washing, maintaining and handling of delivered items always remains the responsibility of the customer.

 Instructions:

  • Always turn inside out for washing.
  • Fasten all the press studs before washing.
  • We recommend using a laundry bag.
  • Wash the MPS-HLS® Hind Leg Sleeves up to a maximum of 90ºC/194ºF.
  • Never put the MPS-HLS® Hind Leg Sleeves in the dryer! Hang it out and let it air dry.
  • Do not iron directly over the print and never too hot.
  • Do not use bleach or other chemicals to clean the MPS-HLS® Hind Leg Sleeves.

Using bleach and other chemicals can cause irritations to your dog’s wound, surgical area, hotspots or more…!

We aim to deliver your order quickly and reliably. All standard orders are dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked, unless you select the Next Working Day Courier service at checkout.

If you require your order urgently, we recommend selecting the Next Working Day option to ensure the fastest delivery.

Delivery Options & Charges

Standard Delivery - Royal Mail Tracked (1–3 working days)

  • £4.95 for orders under £60
  • Free for orders over £60

Next Working Day Delivery - Courier Service

  • £7.50 flat rate
  • Available for all orders placed before 1pm, Monday to Thursday
  • Orders placed after 1pm Thursday through Sunday will be dispatched the next working day (excluding public holidays)

Heavy or Oversized Items

Some products require special handling due to their size or weight. This includes items such as ProFleece bedding, rigid wire cages, and Anigene disinfectant, which are shipped using our Courier Next Working Day service for reliable and efficient delivery.

  • Courier Delivery Charge: £7.50 flat rate for most oversized items
  • ProFleece Delivery: Charges start from £4.95, depending on size and quantity. Final delivery cost is calculated at checkout.
  • Large ProFleece Rolls (10m x 150cm): These are shipped on a 48-hour courier service due to their size and bulk.

Delivery Terms & Information

  • If your order is delayed or not delivered, our liability is limited to replacing the item(s) within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Please notify us within 24 hours if your order arrives damaged or is incomplete.
  • For non-delivery, contact us within 5 days of placing your order so we can investigate.
  • If an incorrect or incomplete delivery address is provided, and your parcel cannot be delivered or returned, we may treat the order as cancelled. In such cases, the item cost will be refunded, but delivery charges may be retained if the parcel was already been dispatched.
  • Your email address and/or mobile number may be shared with our delivery partners (Royal Mail or the courier) for delivery updates or contact purposes regarding your order.

When to Expect Your Delivery

  • Next Working Day Delivery applies to orders placed by 1pm Monday to Thursday (excluding UK bank holidays).
  • Orders placed after 1pm Thursday through Sunday will be dispatched on the next working day (excluding UK public holidays).

How to use

1. Put the MPS-TOP Shirt on by inserting the head first followed by each front leg separately into the openings provided.
2. Put the operated/injured leg in the first sleeve.
3. Attach the elastic straps to the integrated loops of the MPS-TOP Shirt. Secure the straps firmly.
4. Put the other leg in the second sleeve.
5. Attach both sleeves to each other with the Velcro closure on the back part.
6. Make sure the MPS-TOP Shirt and the Hind Leg Sleeves are properly secured.

Game changer

I've got a very active and accident-prone Spaniel. He's regularly being stitched up at the vets but has managed to destroy every cone and while bodysuits have been great, he tends to get wee on them. This jacket and hind leg combo is the best solution ever. This time, he had to have an operation to remove a lump on his back leg. The suit stayed in place, the material is thick enough that he can't lick through it, pee doesn't get on it and he's been quite comfortable in it. The straps tend to come undone quite regularly and can be fiddly, but it beats the cone and anything else I've tried. Not cheap, but worth it.

Great leggings. So much better than a cone for our girl. Personally, we (and the vet staff) found the clips that attach it to the shirt a bit fiddly. I’d have preferred a belt arrangement instead. They wash very well and certainly did the job.
A special should though goes to the staff at Simply2Pets. Outstanding customer service both the phone and online. Thanks for making a difficult time much easier.

Arrived promptly which was a relief as I was struggling with other suits due to slipping or not fitted well for him to urinate. This suit 100% prevented my boy getting to his leg wound and he was still able to urinate without wetting suit. It didn't slip as you can see he was comfortable. Washed well. My boy had TPLO (Cruciate ligament surgery)

This has been the only outfit that hasn't slipped, covered the wound successfully and prevented licking. Also on my male importantly no wee on suit as area completely clear. It was sent promptly easy to put on. Highly recommend. My boy here is one week post TPLO
