How to measure my dog's paw

MPS PetS Boot

To get the best size we recommend you;

  1. Measure the widest point of the paw; this may be side-to-side or front-to-back for longer feet (watch video)
  2. Measure the inside of your dog's leg, from the floor to the top of the inside leg.

If your dog is somewhere between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size.

Paw Size (Largest Point) Length of Boot
X Small 6cm / 2.36" 18cm / 7.08"
Small 6.9cm / 2.72" 27.5cm / 10.82"
Medium Short 7.6cm / 2.99" 24cm / 9.45"
Medium 67.6cm / 2.99" 31cm / 12.22"
Large Short 8.8cm / 3.07" 27cm / 10.63"
Large 8.8cm / 3.07" 32.5cm / 12.8"
X Large 10cm / 3.94"  41.5cm / 16.34"

Note: When your dog puts pressure on the paw, the paw will splay, so ensure that they
are putting weight on the paw you are measuring. If you measure a paw that is not
splayed, the shoes may be too small. To help, you can gently lift the opposite paw in your
hand so all your dog's weight is on the paw you are measuring.

The Boot should fit securely around the leg and paw.

Remember to take into account bandages etc... to ensure a good fit.
