The plastic flakes are melted down and spun into soft, durable polyester fibre, strong enough for vet-grade bedding, gentle enough for your pet.

🛏️ Woven for Comfort
The fibres are woven into thick, plush fleece rolls, available with non-slip backing or breathable green backing, perfect for recovery, crate use, or everyday comfort.

We recommend measuring your crate, carrier, or space first. If you're between sizes, it's best to go for the larger option. ProFleece is easy to trim at home with sharp scissors or a Stanley knife, so you can cut it down to the perfect size without any fraying. This way, you’ll get the best coverage and comfort for your pet, with no risk of it being too small.

Does ProFleece shrink?

No, ProFleece vet bedding is designed to resist shrinking, even after repeated washing. It's made from high-quality, durable polyester fibres that hold their shape and size. For best results, we recommend washing at up to 40°C and avoiding high heat when drying, either air dry or tumble dry on a low setting.

Can I put ProFleece in the washing machine?

Yes, ProFleece is fully machine washable! We recommend washing at up to 40°C for a thorough clean, perfect for removing pet hair, dirt, and bacteria. It’s also quick-drying and can be tumble-dried on a cool setting. Just avoid using fabric softeners, as they can affect the fleece’s wicking properties.

Can ProFleece go in a tumble dryer?

Yes, ProFleece vet bedding is tumble dryer safe. While we do not recommend tumble drying, for best results, we suggest drying it on a low heat setting. This helps preserve the non-slip backing (if applicable) and keeps the fleece soft and long-lasting. You can also air dry it if you prefer, it dries surprisingly quickly!

Why are there loose fibres?

Loose fibres are completely normal and nothing to worry about. During the manufacturing process, some surface fibres may not be fully bonded, especially on freshly cut edges. These can shed slightly at first, but this doesn't affect the quality or performance of the fleece. A quick brush or vacuum before use can help remove any loose bits, and they usually reduce after the first few washes.

How thick is ProFleece?

ProFleece is approximately 28–30mm thick, offering a deep pile for maximum comfort and insulation. It’s designed to be soft, springy and supportive, making it ideal for pets recovering from surgery, newborn litters, or simply those who love a cosy snooze. The dense fibres also allow liquid to drain through, keeping the surface drier for longer.
