The MPS® Topshirt 4-in-1 is a comfortable and practical alternative to the traditional dog cone. Designed to protect torso wounds and aid recovery after surgery, it also offers support for dogs with anxiety or stress-related behaviours. This soft, double-layered shirt is crafted from breathable cotton and Lycra for a snug, secure fit while allowing full freedom of movement.

Recommended by vets, the Topshirt provides gentle, calming pressure around the torso, which can help soothe dogs during stressful events such as travel, separation, or noisy environments.

How to measure your dog

Chest circumference

The chest circumference is best measured around the widest part of the chest, usually right behind the front legs.
If your dog is somewhere between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size.

IMPORTANT: For hind leg sleeves, the MPS Topshirt MUST be used with the Hind Leg Sleeve in order for them to work correctly.

Otherwise the top can be worn on it's own.

Materials

The MPS-TOP Shirt 4-in-1® for dogs is toxic/lead free and is made of:

• 94% cotton

• 6% Invista Lycra® 4-way stretch

Care Instructions

For longer usage, it is possible that the print of the MPS-TOP Shirt 4-in-1® and the label could fade over time. With the washing instructions below, this process can be delayed. Washing, maintaining and handling of delivered items always remains the responsibility of the customer.

 Instructions:

  • Always turn inside out for washing.
  • Fasten the Velcro before washing.
  • We recommend using a laundry bag.
  • Wash the MPS-TOP Shirt 4-in-1® up to a maximum of 90ºC/194ºF.
  • Never put the MPS-TOP Shirt 4-in-1® in the dryer! Hang it out and let it air dry.
  • Do not iron directly over the print and never too hot.
  • Do not use bleach or other chemicals to clean the MPS-TOP Shirt 4-in-1®.

Using bleach and other chemicals can cause irritations to your dog’s wound, surgical area, hotspots or more…!

Shipping & Returns

We aim to deliver your order quickly and reliably. All standard orders are dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked, unless you select the Next Working Day Courier service at checkout.

If you require your order urgently, we recommend selecting the Next Working Day option to ensure the fastest delivery.

Delivery Options & Charges

Standard Delivery - Royal Mail Tracked (1–3 working days)

  • £4.95 for orders under £60
  • Free for orders over £60

Next Working Day Delivery - Courier Service

  • £7.50 flat rate
  • Available for all orders placed before 1pm, Monday to Thursday
  • Orders placed after 1pm Thursday through Sunday will be dispatched the next working day (excluding public holidays)

Heavy or Oversized Items

Some products require special handling due to their size or weight. This includes items such as ProFleece bedding, rigid wire cages, and Anigene disinfectant, which are shipped using our Courier Next Working Day service for reliable and efficient delivery.

  • Courier Delivery Charge: £7.50 flat rate for most oversized items
  • ProFleece Delivery: Charges start from £4.95, depending on size and quantity. Final delivery cost is calculated at checkout.
  • Large ProFleece Rolls (10m x 150cm): These are shipped on a 48-hour courier service due to their size and bulk.

Delivery Terms & Information

  • If your order is delayed or not delivered, our liability is limited to replacing the item(s) within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Please notify us within 24 hours if your order arrives damaged or is incomplete.
  • For non-delivery, contact us within 5 days of placing your order so we can investigate.
  • If an incorrect or incomplete delivery address is provided, and your parcel cannot be delivered or returned, we may treat the order as cancelled. In such cases, the item cost will be refunded, but delivery charges may be retained if the parcel was already been dispatched.
  • Your email address and/or mobile number may be shared with our delivery partners (Royal Mail or the courier) for delivery updates or contact purposes regarding your order.

When to Expect Your Delivery

  • Next Working Day Delivery applies to orders placed by 1pm Monday to Thursday (excluding UK bank holidays).

How to use

To put the MPS-TOP Shirt on

  • Inserting the head first
  • Followed by each front leg into the openings provided.
  • Close the MPS-TOP Shirt around the chest with the adjustable Velcro.

If you want a more calming effect slightly increase the pressure.

Fantastic bit of kit to help with my dogs Lipoma.

The shirt was very good and helped us greatly after our dogs cruciate ligament surgery because this short also attaches to “trousers” to make a lick suit. Did the job for us. Our dog also had forelimb surgery so I sewed a leg on the front of the shirt so that was covered too. All worked very well. I would change the overhead arrangement though to Velcro because getting it over her head was a bit of a struggle.
We were Aided by the wonderful staff at Simply2Pets both by phone and online. Excellent service thank you

Our Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen, Jack, had keyhole surgery for a pulmonary stenosis, blocked heart valve. Because the incision was made on his neck/shoulder it needed something to prevent him from scratching at the site and, also, to provide protection when out and about.
The 4 in 1 shirt proved ideal for the job.

This was recommended by the vet as my border terrier Mia was having a cancerous lump on the top of her shoulder removed.
This jacket was ideal as she could still go outside for any necessary toilet breaks without me having to popper/unpopper her. The stretchy jersey front around her neck and front paws was beautifully soft and stretchy so simple to get on and off.
Mia didn’t need to use the pouch on the back of the jacket but the whole design is genius.
I needed next day delivery as they operated on Mia so quickly and the service was perfect.

I needed an appropriate jacket for my little guy after surgery. He was uncomfortable with everything we put him in so, after viewing your website I thought I’d try it. Because this jacket is so comfortable our little guy is getting rest and healing, because the jacket keeps him safe and secure he is even lying on the surgery side and it’s not giving him any issues.
